Billing

Once the reading has been recorded, the handheld meter reading devices are downloaded to our utility billing system. Your consumption is calculated by comparing your current reading to the prior reading. The difference between theHandheld Meter Reader two represents your consumption for the month. You are invoiced for this consumption using the applicable rate for your situation. Your rate is indicated on your invoice and depends on whether you are a residential, commercial, or industrial customer.

Invoices are printed and mailed on a daily basis. The normal time lag between the date your meter is read and the date your invoice is mailed is two days. When you receive your invoice, you should note the payment due date. Your due date is calculated to be twenty days from the date your invoice is prepared.
