Electrical rates and charges are set by the Power Commission of the City of Saint John and are approved by the Board of Commissioners. Rates and charges shown do not include applicable taxes.
 

Residential Rate Code 1:

Rate per kWhs First 800 kWhs: 8.98 cents Balance of kWhs: 8.53 cents
Monthly customer charge: $15.15

Residential Rate Code 010: (New Construction since April 2009)

Rate per kWhs: 8.76 cents
Monthly customer charge: $15.15

Late Payments: An interest charge of 1.5% per month is added to invoices not paid by the due date.
Returned Cheques: If your cheque is returned to us, a charge of $22.49 is added to your account balance.
