Online / Telephone Banking

Online and telephone-based banking involves secure and reliable methods of payment that are offered by all major Canadian financial institutions. Simply follow your financial institution’s online banking request procedures, adding “Saint John Energy” and your Saint John Energy Customer and Account number where required.

Equalized Payment

Given the fluctuating nature of energy costs, depending on the season, we offer customers the option of an equalized payment program so that monthly bills are predictable and consistent.

Your monthly bill will be the same each month regardless of the time of year, based upon your average monthly consumption from the previous year. This program runs from September to August, and when the budget year concludes, your energy consumption is compared to the total energy invoiced. Following that, you will either be credited or debited the difference. Many of our customers receive a modest credit at the end of the budget year. For more information, or to apply click here.

Electronic Billing

Receiving your bill online is not only convenient - it’s environmentally friendly too. You can request an electronic bill presentment through your financial institution's website or directly from Canada Post.

Saint John Energy will transmit your invoice securely and electronically to Canada Post for hosting. You may view up to seven years (from time of enrollment) of billing history online. Please note that an application for electronic bill presentment will end your receipt of a paper copy of your invoice.
