Power Line Cover
Working around power lines can be dangerous. Customers and contractors may be required to cover power lines in order to conduct work safely. See tips for staying safe when you are close to power line here.
Once your request has been received and processed, a field technician will conduct a site visit to assess the scope of the job.
Following your scheduled visit, a field technician will follow up to discuss the scope of the project, associated costs as well as requested/required timeframes. A flat rate charge will be charged to cover the installation and removal of up to six (6) protective blankets or hoses or a combination of both, as determined by Saint John Energy Operations’ staff. Situations requiring more than six blankets or hoses will be billed at Saint John Energy’s prevailing rates.
Following this, a technician will provide a Work Authorization Form that will need to be signed before work can begin. Once the form is completed, it will be submitted to our operations department to schedule the work. The customer must contact Saint John Energy to have the line cover removed.
For a full schedule please refer to our rates and policies manual.
